Can I have multiple IRAs?

Yes, you can have multiple IRAs, including:

  • Traditional
  • Roth
  • SEP IRA, if you’re self-employed or own a small business.

These accounts can be held at F&A as IRA Savings Accounts or as IRA Certificates or at other financial institutions.

What is the advantage of opening an IRA at a credit union?

Credit unions, like F&A, offer guaranteed returns, federal insurance protection up to $250,000, competitive rates, and personalized service because we’re invested in you as a member. Interested? Can I roll over a previous employer’s retirement plan into an F&A IRA?

Yes, you can roll over a former employer's retirement plan into an F&A IRA as either a Savings Account or use the funds to open an IRA Certificate. Please contact our Member Contact Center for more information at (800) 222-1226.
