Accessibility

F&A Credit Union is committed to providing a website that is as accessible as our services. We strive to ensure our mobile, online, telephone, ATM, and in-person services, products, and information are accessible to those with disabilities. We also offer a variety of auxiliary aids and services to help us communicate effectively with members with disabilities.

Website

F&A Credit Union has implemented the recommendations of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as published by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), a group that makes the guidelines for the Internet worldwide. 

As there is no single definitive test of conformance to Level AA of the WCAG, we have used various methods for assessing our accessibility. Any links to third-party software available on this website are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, and such software is to be used at your own risk.

We strive to make every page accessible to users but cannot guarantee that every page is Level AA compliant. If you find a part of the site that you feel does not conform to Level AA of the WCAG, or if you are using a website reader and are having difficulty, please contact us at (800) 222-1226 or send us a secure message to let us know so that we can rectify it.

 

Mobile Experience

F&A Credit Union maintains mobile and browser application compatibility within industry standards. We recommend utilizing your operating system or browser's native accessibility tools for the best online experience. 

Accessible features include:

  • Mobile app compatible with AndroidTM & iOS® accessibility software
  • Keyboard-accessible links
  • Color contrast for users with vision impairments
  • Text hierarchy to distinguish headlines from content and notation text
  • Descriptive links
  • eMessaging

 

Branch & ATM

Our branches are designed to meet all federal, state, and local standards for accessibility. Accessibility features at our branches include:

  • Exterior: Parking space sizes, signage, slopes, and grading.
  • Entrances: Wheelchair accessibility to enter the branch. The Whittier branch doors automatically open, and the Monterey Park branch doors have a touch button.
  • Interior: Greeters stationed near the doors, accessible teller windows

We welcome service animals. For users with visual impairments, our ATMs offer tactile input controls with symbols, ascending/descending keypads with visual contrast, Braille instructions, a headset port with verbal instructions, and speech mode controls.
