Person-2-Person Payments

 Sending and receiving money just got easier.

Our new Person-2-Person Payment (P2P) service allows you to transfer1 money to or from anyone using your smartphone, tablet or computer.2 Now you can pay the gardener, housekeeper and day care provider or gift your children and grandchildren, quickly and conveniently ‑ no more checks or cash.

Once you’re enrolled in external funds transfer, you can transfer money to other people using their email address or mobile phone number.3 You can also request money from other people to be deposited to your F&A account. The other person does not need to be a member of F&A and their bank information will remain confidential.

It’s fast,4 safe and free.5

Here’s how to send money:

  1. Under “Funds Transfer,” click the “External” tab and select “Send Money”
  2. Select the account you would like the money transferred from
  3. Select email or mobile phone and enter the recipient’s information
  4. The shared secret is case sensitive and will need to be given to the other person to complete their side of the transfer
  5. Enter the dollar amount, verify the information and click “Transfer”

The payee will receive an email or text message5 with a link to confirm their identity. The payee will need to follow the prompts to enter the shared secret word or phrase, verify transaction details and enter their bank information to complete the transfer request. Once the payee’s account information has been verified, they will receive a success message with a confirmation number and a confirmation message once the transfer is completed.

Here’s how to request money:

  1. Under “Funds Transfer,” click the “External” tab and select “Receive Money”
  2. Select email or mobile phone and enter the other person’s information
  3. Select the “To Account” you would like the money to be deposited to
  4. The shared secret is case sensitive and will need to be given to the other person to complete their side of the transfer
  5. Enter the dollar amount, verify the information and click “Transfer”
